The Uttarakhand Board of School Education (UBSE) has released the official notification for the Uttarakhand Teacher Eligibility Test (UTET) 2026. This examination is conducted for the eligibility of teachers for Class 1 to 5 (UTET-I) and Class 6 to 8 (UTET-II) in government schools across Uttarakhand. The online application process has started from 14 July 2026 and candidates can submit their application forms till 03 August 2026. Candidates must have passed 10+2 with at least 50% marks along with D.El.Ed / BTC / B.El.Ed / Diploma in Special Education as per NCTE norms. Candidates having a Bachelor’s Degree with D.El.Ed. are also eligible. |
| Class 6 to 8 (UTET-II) |
Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree with D.El.Ed., BTC, B.Ed., B.Ed. (Special Education) or equivalent teacher education qualification. Candidates with 10+2 and 4-Year B.El.Ed. / B.A.B.Ed. / B.Sc.B.Ed. are also eligible. |
