- Primary Teacher (PRT): For candidates who have cleared CTET Paper 1.
- Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT): For candidates who have cleared CTET Paper 2, along with a subject-specific graduation degree and B.Ed.
- PRT: Pay Level 6 (₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400).
- TGT: Pay Level 7 (₹44,900 – ₹1,42,400)

- PRT: Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) OR Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) OR Diploma in Education (Special Education) OR Graduation with 50% marks and B.Ed. AND Pass in the CTET Paper 1.
- TGT: Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject(s) and in aggregate AND B.Ed. AND Pass in the CTET Paper 2.
